PREVIOUSLY IN 2007.... **24th April:** Room For Pudding hosts the script reading evening, 'Room For... New Writing', in their search for a new script to produce in full later in the year. Four script extracts presented by professional actors infront of an industry audience with feedback given by our expert panel. **7th July: ** SELF HELP - Finding a new direction for emerging theatre artists. Together with Artists Anonymous, Finger In The Pie, and Redgate Marketing, Room For Pudding hosted this one day conference dealing with issues of funding and support for small scale theatre companies and emerging theatre practitioners. A double bill of new writing developed from previous script reading events including Sean Tyler's, I Met This Girl and Victoria Taylor Roberts', Something Borrowed. COMING SOON IN 2008... ** 8th March - Performer and Director workshops** Room For Pudding Theatre Company once again invites actors and directors to it's One Day workshop March 8th 2008. An exploration of workshop and rehearsal methods used by Room For Pudding, focusing on Body Awareness, Ensemble Awareness, Text Interrogation, Creativity Through Play, Sincerity in Performance. These workshops are intended as an introduction to the ethos and techniques of the company for those looking for an opportunity to flex their acting muscles, brush away the performance cobwebs and to meet like-minded performers and Room For Pudding company members. We are particularly interested in those looking for future long-term collaboration with the company with an interest in practitioners such as Lecoq, Grotowski, Michael Chekhov and Boal.
